I believe Wigan should keep Heskey. His recent quotes about wanting to stay, and his big smile after his goal against Hull, tell me that his heart is still with Wigan.

This is very important, because I believe that if Wigan want to become a destination club for good players (instead of a temporary haven), then they need to create a culture of success centered around Wigan mainstays like Heskey, Kirkland, and Melchiot. They will make it easier for other players to see what it means to play for Wigan, and that will best position the club for greater future success.

not really a BIG deal (like losing Heskey though is it) same as the booozwanandkdbks so not really much to go by!

I think Bruce actually said something along the lines of, he has no plans for transfer activity tonight, and hopes he wont need to get involved in any (not a verbatim qoute you will appreciate). Which I translate as not expecting to buy, but may have to negotiate a sale.
