Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov - Is there a better attacking quartet??

--------------

AC Milan- Inzaghi, Shevchenko, Ronaldinho, Kaka. And before anyone starts with the whole "shevchenko was rubbish at chelsea" he's still in the top 4 (active) UEFA competition goalscorers along with Inzaghi, Raul and Van Nistelrooy, which leads me to my second choice of Real Madrid- Van Nistelrooy, Raul, Sneijder and Van der Vaart
------------------------

In terms of achievement you're right. Those players are better albeit RVN has never won the CL. But were basing it on current ability. I love the way most people believe already that Van Der Vaart is a gem signing from Madrid. He is a highly inconsistent player and wouldn't get ahead of any of United's quartet, even if in good form IMO. As good as Raul and Ruud have been in the case of Ruud a poacher is becoming more and more out of fashion in Europe these days.

Now you need a player who can not only hold up the line and score goals, but keyly link up the play with those around. It's whyb players such as Adebayor, Berba and Benzema were so highly sought after. Ruud doesn't do this and I don't think most top performing European teams
would go along with a player like that.

On current ability and form I still think United have the edge over those two. Nor am I the only one, if I recall Paolo Rossi has said they are the best front 4 in Europe followed by Inter and then Barcelona.
