why, when torres has just got injured, would you send your cover out on loan?! Surely keeping him till january would have been more sensible? Unless he's signed owen...

The fella was a decent professional better suited to playing off the front-man. He was never a striker in the traditional sense.

He came on a free, but never really showed what he could do, didn't get a proper run of games, and never played in his best position.

It may only be a loan, but if they are paying his wages, and we couldn't shift him on a transfer, so be it. If they have an option, hopefully he does well for them and we can pick up a fee in January for him.

Not worried about him going. We don't have a striker crisis ffs, we've lost Torres for a couple of weeks. We still have Kuyt, Keane, Nemeth, N'gog, Flora - what crisis?

Kuyt - How many goals does he score i the league? Hes a CL Machine!!!
Keane - hasnt settled in yet so to rely on him would be asking too much
Ngog/Flora - Youngers who, once given a string of games, will flatter to decieve like the majority of Benitez signings.

Whilst Rafa is the manager your not gona win anything!!!
Good manager imo but stuck in the past!!
