hibevis (U13140964) posted Sep 1, 2008 It goes from worse to, well worser! One of my best mates is a pars fan and he has informed me of his delight to lose a player who at best was a liability. What kind of ambition has Mixu? He has signed a player who played an important part in Dunfermline being relegated to Div 1. Nish, Rankin and Bamba - Players not even capable of Inter Toto let alone the mighty green and white. Well Bamba we may well be playing your team 4 times next season if Mixu stays at the helm.

1Wattie (U11221085) posted Sep 1, 2008 Bringing Riordan back to Easter Road is a huge gamble considering he was desperate to go to Celtic just a season or so ago.If memory serves me correctly Celtic only paid around £160,000 for him and are looking for £250,000.

famous5stand (U6119344) posted Sep 1, 2008 I suggested Hibs sign Bamba several months ago and am delighted we have succeeded - this is an ambitious player who said before he hopes to eventually play in the Premiership so he is not just first division dross. Combined with the signing of Riordan, which I never thought Hibs could afford, this brings a ray of light to what has been a decidedly gloomy period for Hibs. And let's lay off Mixu and give him a chance now that most of JC's duds have been ditched.

Stevie1960 (U11320880) posted Sep 2, 2008 Yes he did get rid of Jc` s duds and he replaced them with the likes of Rankin,Zarabi and Canning, remember he cant take credit for Nish and Murray as they were already going to sign for us before Mixu put pen to paper. Collins duds were sitting pretty at the top of the SPL last September. I agree he made mistakes but his knowledge and tactical sense together with his will to take hibs back to the top leaves Mixu trailing. Lets remember if it wasnt for a certain hat trick Mixu scored would anyone ever remember a striker whose biggest exertion in a game was when he was subbed. I think that was the only time he broke sweat in a game. Well done Mixu in recapturing Deek but lets keep the young talent we have left, no need to bin them just because you never brought them through.
