We all know its been a disappointing day but lets remebmber we lost the first Old Firm game 3-0 last seaosn. It may have been at Ibrox yes, but theres still a long way to go! No denying we need a left back and another striker but I still believe tht we hav the stronger all round squad! Get behind the team as im sure we'll come good! . Bring them on at Ibrox next time!!!!
Hail Hail and Keep the Faith!!!!!!

Poor old Bluecoops.....so easily wound up. A bit like your team and supporters. Why play nice passing football when a swift kick or elbow to the opposition will suffice!!!!

Celtic will be back. Mark my words!!

Poor old Jaycee.......can't take a hammering with a bit of dignity.
Your words are marked - just like Caldwell's face.

Mr Cynical certainly is living up to his name, suggesting that Nakamura - hands down the most talented footballer in the country - is not a success. Still, I guess this is a pretty common opinion amongst the masses of tabloid football fans here, just like the belief that Rangers crushed Celtic on Sunday.
Being a Celtic fan, I was at first being very reactionary and thinking this was an absolute disaster. But after a few days you realise that, although it was humiliating to concede 4 goals at home, only 3 points were dropped and Celtic were comfortable until some bizarre mistakes threw away the game. This is no attempt to disrespect Rangers, who did well and deserved to win.

McBeagle, I didn't say Nakamura wasn't a fantastically gifted player. I simply said that he hasn't been an unqualified success, as he can be inconsistent and disappear from the game if Celtic aren't doing well. Hence why he was in the inconsistent/jury's out (ie "can't make up my mind") section rather than failures.

I'm surprised you know the meaning of dignity!! Yes we were beaten......we might be down just now but we most certainly are not out of it. There is a whole season to go yet. I suppose your support act dignified by beating the crap out of Lennon. Hmmmmm yes I guess most of you just think that is the perfect end to a perfect day!!!! Rather sad really !

OK, fair enough, but I have to disagree about Caldwell. I know this is not a popular opinion, but I think he finished last season very strongly and of the 2 centre backs I think it's McManus who has looked a bit shaky early on this season. In the SPL, I've got no worries about him. Where Caldwell has been called into question is the CL so I can see your point, however.

As concerns Maloney, surely the jury must still be out on his re-signing - he had a good first game, but we can't just presume he's going to be as good as we expect. He was nowhere in the Old Firm - talk about disappearing from a game when we're not playing well.

It's a bit unfair to say Perrier-Doumbe has been a failure - he has just been injured a lot. He seemed a perfectly good player, as far as I remember.

weejaycee
I do know the meaning of the word dignity thanks for asking. I wonder if your goalkeeper does?
And I made no reference to Neil Lennon, what happened to him was disgusting.
So calm yourself down, go away and lick your wounds and we'll see how the season unfolds.

To the `tic fans who took the banners saying "oh my god, they signed Kenny....numpties". Thank you very much. Please please take them along to the next old firm game, as they clearly have a positive effect on Mr Miller (oh yes, thats the Mr Miller who banged in twa goals on Sunday against ya).
You "bhoys" have been gloating far too much in recent times (read Leckie`s column in the Record), so much so, it`s like those winey ManU fans.
Welcome to the real world bhoys, your squad and your manager have been found out....and at home too!!
Ps,
Sorry to hear about Boruc`s divorce, cos she is well fit!!!!
