sirtoongospel (U1831469) posted Aug 30, 2008 smith will leave anyway. As for Milner, 11 goals in 136 games says it all. A relentless trier, which is why we lkoved him, but his quality wasn't good enough. That's why Ramage went. KK will bring in better. Saviola will be a NUFC player by Monday. Keep the faith. As for Barton, if he remains a NUFC player I for one will give him a go. He was one of the main reasons we stayed up last season.

m-artin-s (U11211536) posted Aug 30, 2008 no, you've got mental diseases for thinking that milner is better than barton. milner is possibly one of the most overrated players at our club and £12m is an absolute joke. I'd rather take that and have Smith and Barton anyday.

Tony Hadley (U12848616) posted Aug 30, 2008 He hasn't sold Smith and Barton because no-one has made an offer. No-one wants to take them on. He sold Milner because he was offered 12m, which is unbelievable. posted Aug 30, 2008 I prefer Barton over Milner (as a football player on the pitch)

MalcolmSm1th (NUFC 177) (U1678304) posted Aug 30, 2008 Simply, Milner was sold away from the club despite Keegan wishing to keep him. His quote just about made that clear for those who are able to read between the lines.

Incognito (U1916618) posted Aug 30, 2008 Our team is too small to sell players, simple as that. Our squad was tiny last season, smaller now, and we've just lost a player who gave his all to our team. Comment on this article
