Milner - Please read!

I've been reading through some pages recently about Milner so I thought I would start my own (it's not going to be as bad as you think! Trust me!)

I personally think that selling Milner for £10m/£12m (however much it was) is a great bit of business. As a Toon player, I liked Milner, everyone has known for ages that he's not the best winger but the fact that he gave everything, every game more than enough makes up for his pace etc, and by the way, the people that are saying he can't cross; they're just bitter. His cross isn't that bad. It's better than Geremi's last season!

To summarise, although he is a good team player, if I was a Villa fan I would be unhappy that my team paid more/the same for Milner as Chelsea did for Deco (agreed they are different players, but there is no way Milner is worth more then Deco even if he is a lot younger).

If I was a Villa fan I'd be gutted at spending 12m on Milner. Considering we paid about 9m for Martins, 12m is a great bit of business for us.

Although I would have preferred to keep him, you can't turn down that amount of money. Now I just hope we see some more players coming in with that money.
