I see Wille McKay has unearthed another potential player. Will he be as good as Barton or Boumsong?

Also does anyone else find KK's lack of involvement in transfers concerning? I seem to recall it was through talking to him that players like Lee, Shearer and Ginola all signed. I'm not sure Dennis Wise has the same respect.
