Mauro Zarate would be a great loan signing?? i don't know if ye saw him much at birmingham last season but he was a very exciting player coming off the bench, he reminded me of tevez with his direct running at defenders! does anybody know what his situation is because he was definitely available at the start of the summer and I have heard nothing since!? thanks, alan.

Gr8 cheers bruv more doom and gloom pass me the razor (cant take much more of this).
the fact is all we are linked with is total and utter wasters that no one else wants.
players that cant make it in a down and out sunday leagues.
why cant anyone see that we only ave about 4-or 5 players that other major clubs want .
as i said b4 we need a playmaker 2 good wingers that can CROSS and pass a couple of good defensive mids and a couple of strikers that know where the goal is , to put bellars and deano under pressure. ok

The simpsons. They have no influence over our club. They just pay us to wear their logo and do a bit of PR work.
They sponsor us, not the other way around.

As to the media stories chasevillan, I wouldn't read too much into it.
After Zoom went under, there was bound to be a few stories from the 'news' hungry press.
It's probably another of their made up stories.

They love a bit of doom and gloom.

Chase I heard it on the news this morning, scouted arround the bbc site and found this dated this Friday.

Low cost carrier, XL Airways, has cancelled all its flights from London to the Caribbean this winter.
The announcement on Friday came one day after another budget transatlantic airline, Zoom, collapsed, leaving passengers in Bermuda and elsewhere stranded.
Both airlines have blamed the economic downturn and steep rises in fuel bills.
XL, one of Britain's biggest charter airlines had been due to fly from London Gatwick to Antigua, St Kitts, Tobago, St Lucia, Barbados and Grenada.
Aviation consultant John Strickland said the decision came as a surprise, given that the time of year is popular with travellers

The story is about half way down the page.
