I'm not writting this to knock St Helens, full credit to them they deserve to be the fav's for the game but why are we all so sure it will be a one sided affair?

In 2005 Leeds turned up at Cardiff expecting to win and Hull turned them over

2002 St Helens turned up at Murryfield thinking they had already won the game, they lost to Wigan.

1998 Sheffield wasn't given a chance but they still beat Wigan who won the Grand Final that year.

1993 With all Wigan's injury's everyone expected Widnes to beat Wigan, it never happened.

1989 St Helens made two new signing just for the game and still lost 27 nil to Wigan

To say it will such be one sided event will do the national intrest no good. Let's remember the cup is about shocks, lets live the dream, let Hull live the dream before the the game, who knows, only thing I do know is you never write off any team off in the comp!

Remember Sheffield were the bottom of the table in 1998, Wigan at the top, it happens.

Who's to say Long hasn't placed a bet this time round? Who knows?

The only question is who will get the Lance Todd Trophy? - Will they give it Long to make him the player who won it the most times, or Cunningham as he is playing in his last Challenge Cup - either way the match will be a dead loss for neutrals who want an exciting game.

Everyone knows this will be a difficult game for us.HOWEVER this is the challenge cup and anything can happen. When we play at our best (which we will need to) we are capable of beating anyone.
And thank god we are playing saints and not leeds tomorrow because it will be much easier to take losing to saints then leeds. WE HATE RHINOS!!

hullfcmike - if you play at your best, and the other team has a mare of a game, you can beat anyone. Even at your best, you can't cope with the best that Saints or Leeds can produce. And never will

Being a die hard Warrington fan I wish Hull all the best !!!

Every one likes the under dog don't they.

But my prediction is 38 - 12 to St's with the enigma (can't say what i want to) Sean Long MOTM

Lets show the premier league what a great game Rugby League is !
