Ashley Young £9m
Zat Knight £4m
Curties Davies £9m
Stilian Petrov £7m
Marlon Harewood £4m
Brad Friedel £2m
Brad Guzan £2m
Carlos Cuellar £7m
Luke Young £5m
Nick Shorey £4m
Reo Coker £8m
James Milner £12m
Steve Sidwell £5m

I make that £78m in just over 2 years. Please note I dont rate many of these but ITS THE AMBITION THAT STANDS OUT!

This is from a club that had average crowds of 7,000 more than us when the new regime arrived.

Steve Bruce's relationship with the current board hit the floor when he pointed out that they had a different agenda.

Our board talk the talk but never walk.....Boy how I wish they would walk.

Randy keeps his gob shut and keeps dishing out the cash. Before everyone says he is a benefactor HE IS NOT their club has £60m worth of debt does that stop them building and being positive in the market NO!!!

I must admit some of the players have not been fantastic buys but the one thing that stands out is they are now paying over the odds for some Milner and Cuellar in particular. But they still back the boss.

Even Sunderland with 15,000 more fans (this equates to around £8m per year more in income) are light years ahead of us we both won promotion and since then they have spent well over £65m.

Its a different world in the premier and my message to our board is simple. IF YOU DONT WANT TO RISE TO THE CHALLENGE THEN I SUGGEST YOU GET US BACK UP CASH YOUR CHIPS AND **** OFF!!!

It appears that you have memory problems. laugh

YOU SAID:

7) West Ham & Everton are examples of how investment can lead to a situation where you eventually run up as much debt as you can and then have to start selling quality players.

*******************

This is your implication that some clubs like these 2 have run up too much debt and now have to sell.!!!!

I responded with my comments to pour scorn are this theory to highlight Everton are not a selling club. West ham are selling players as they have just realised they now have a squad of about 46!!!

So I suggest you re-read your comments. laughlaughdohlaugh

My dad always said liars need good memories

Perhaps its old age, or are you the same age as Marlon Harewood laugh

Excuse me I sometimes find it hard to keep up with the BS!!!laugh

Wigan Sunderland Villa or the next club that gives the manager 50m to spend!

Is this horrendous overspending the reason you're charging away fans £40? Get a grip Brummies, that's just plain greed!

Careful Burger, ol' 12T will bring up your favourite match again as we haven't read that for a few days now. doh

12T says that Everton are a buying club, they received £9,000,000 for AJ, and out of it they are buying Saha for £00,000,000.00. dohlaughdoh

12T Carson, its the way he tells them. He'll be here all week. laughlaughlaugh

At the risk of sounding like Spock - That is illogical, Brummie1875! I now have to spend loads on petrol trying to find a place near St Andrews where my car won't get nicked (is that even possible?)and then get ripped off at the the gate by your greedy club!
I know to some extent your club will benefit on the pitch from having a 'Premiership attitude' and personally I think you'll get there, but you aren't there yet! You are a Championship club charging Premiership prices. This is simply wrong.
