BREAKING NEWS: Everton to sign Saha

comment on the article

Everton will sign Louis Saha from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

I know where Moyes is going with this transfer, they need to add quality and depth to their squad, but Saha has proven to be so injury plagued during his time at Manchester United, will he stay injury free to make an impact at Everton?

A gamble not worth taking or a great bit of business by Moyes?

It's a brilliant bit of business. Saha, when he is fit, is an exceptionally talented striker. I'll be sad to see him go, but he's just never fit! If Everton can get him fit, then they've got an amazing footballer, for what I suspect to be a very good price.

These statements 'if everton can get him fit' seem a bit silly to me.

Have we not been trying to get him fit for the past 3 years and is it just a matter of 'getting him fit' and he's a class striker???!!!

Why didn't we get him fit then rather than selling him for peanuts???

Its not the best signing Everton could have made i must admit. Didnt see the point in buying sicknote am just glad we got rid off him. I didnt like him didnt think he was good enough for man u

No offence from a Liverpool fan, but if some get offended by it anyway i suppose thats a plus.

But genuinely if he stays fit and away from injury then he will be a good player for Everton.

He not class but he is good and should be a good signing for ya.

Bit of mileage left in him...if they didn't give a lot for him would be good biz.

as a United fan i have to say in a way its a shame he's gone, as when he was fit he was a great goalscorer and a real asset to the team, unfortunatley he's suffered lots of injurys and has lost touch, but i hope him well at Everton

If it was a fit Saha in his prime then it would have been an OK buy for Everton... But even then he was never consistant enough in the Premier League.

Now 30 and without full match fitness for the last 3 years or so... Bad business just to get him on the pay role.

I think it was a risk david moyes had to take as his team wasnt shaping up aswell as last season. im not sure weather saha is 100% fit or not but i think getting saha fit and on form he will be a terrific signing and a wish him all the best at everton

It's a gamble no doubt, but if he gets and stays fit he'll score you 25+ goals a season.

Only time will tell.

I'd have prefered for him to stay at Utd, but I think Manucho is almost a carbon copy of Louis in terms of his style of play.So we shouldn't miss him too much.
