England - South Africa

comment on the article

Morning everyone,

I'll shortly be bringing you the live text for Friday's third ODI between England and South Africa at The Oval.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cri...

Can England wrap up the series today, with SA captain Graeme Smith sidelined by injury? Or is it too soon to write off the Proteas?

Do get involved and join the debate.

Horse,

Rather than coming on here and making pointless comments about something just because you don't like it, why don't you do what most normal people do with crap like athletics and swimming - Ignore it.

I could write for pages on the Olypics forums about how over-rated Phelps is, how much a waste of time diving is or how boring middle distance running is.

But I don't, beacuse I just ignore it, and let fools like youself be.

That way we all get on better.

With current state of English players we can easily make it clean sweep. KP rules!

Dear H2OSRE

Regarding your reacent comunication,

A lancastrian being pompus, well this a first since the tudors and even they were a bit welsh, i will be sure to jot it down in my diary, and celerbrate it with a small glass of sherry every year from hence forth.

Can we first establish a fact which even though i am usually dubious of facts as everything can both be proved and disproved by the same facts, england have won the last three one day matches that we have played against the south africans. Right on that basis, we can now move forward to question certain aspects of your engaging statements, would england have on these matches if as a team they did not take it seriously, no. If english cricket did not take the game seriously and rested on our historic laurals as you say, then we would have accepted that on paper the south african team is better than ours and gone out and played with this mentality. Did england do this, no, they went out believing that they could beat the south africans and showed profesionalism and got on with the job and won.

I will rise above my temptation to question how those player you are talking about got stronger than our players, maybe you were thinking of asif.

Anyway i shall retire with my pipe and await your no doubt well reasoned and mesured responce

Yours

LG

My dear Reverend, Lancaster Blend, which has subtle vanilla hints.

LancsGoogly:
Your spelling is unbelievably bad! Can't take anything you said seriously as I was laughing so much at your poor grammer.
Reverend Weasel:
Clearly your idea of sporting endeavour does not encapsulate an understanding of the conditioning required to produce an athlete of the calibre of Michael Phelps, Lance Armstrong, etc. Enough said to you as your intellectual capability does not allow you to realise that this is in fact a forum for free expression and that what is posted is often put there to stimulate comments such as yours, from people like yourself.
"El Kronino" is getting it when he/she goes off on one. How very boring it is to have everyone patting each other on the back and guffawing along.
Wise up the lot of you, get the poles out of your keisters, and have a laugh with the forums.
Looking forward to the next test series!

having a laugh and a bit of banter with everyone on here is great, it's when the likes of you insult and provoke others into arguments like you have created here. Clearly the fact no one on here is agreeing with you proves your incorrectness?
