This zabeleta sounds like a decent squad player, waste of money though when we could do with a left back, ball is good, but lacking that little bit of pace

They came for the trophies (U9820398) posted Aug 30, 2008 Espanyol website says he has left today to have a medical at city so this should go through. If we're gonna get rid of anyone ireland would be my first choice as Zabaleta can play right mid but can he play centre mid?

mattdanbing (U12644046) posted Aug 31, 2008 If he had all this money to spend on 4 defenders why didnt he use it on players who can help the team win more? The one problem i'd say Man City had last season was scoring goals and with not many great options they even had to buy Benjani as a quick-fix to that problem and only bought Jo in this season, is it enough?
