Im not taking the mick but can you confirm what goalscoring days KD will be revisiting, sunday league under 8's? Cub scout football?

Good signing hes a good old fashioned symbol of the devent footballer but a goalscorer he isnt. I think he will get 8 this season.

Top man- I second Davies for England. The sort of player we have needed for years. The management continue to overlook one of the most continued excellent performers in the Premiership for the likes of Ricketts (where is he now?), Beattie (waste of space), Johnson, Heskey etc. etc.

Would love to see him head back to Chesterfield in the summer of 2011- we would have him back in a flash!

Kevin ' Major Richard Sharp ' Davies signing a new contract is the best news this week! His very presence on a pitch, his workrate, inspiration and all the assists he creates make him as valuable as any 15-20 goal a season striker.

Now ..if only we could find someone talented / physically fit enough to play alongside him, to benefit from havin' him there ...knockin' in the goals .....

Hello Bolton from sunny Brownsville Texas. K. Davies a striker with so few goals in almost 5 years , you call him a striker ?? then Cristiano Ronaldo with 42 goals last season is from other planet. Davies will be a good player in American football.

He's a very, very important player for Bolton and would be very hard to replace for a side liek yourselves. A proven player in the higher levels who has tremendous work rate although he doesnt score as many goals as he shold. he has been a mainstay in the side for quite a number of years now.

He's as important to bolton as ronaldo is to man utd - the team revolves around davies who hasnt quite been good enough for international recofnition

Ah well!

Super Kev may not score the goals, but the amount he sets up through shear defensive pressure. Hassles defenders, pressure, mistakes happen and someone should be there to mop up the goals.

Numerous times have i seen Super Kev chasing a ball, no-one thought was any good, and then crunching the defender into his own corner flag and winning a throw/ corner.

Teams should overlook that yes, even though he scores hardly any, his work rate and tenacity is priceless, i bet "Super" Cristiano would cry off after some of the light knocks Davies has taken.

As you can tell i rate Super Kev alot!

Nobody is complaining about Big Kev's work rate or any of the lads. They all run hard and do the best they can. If you and I play in tomorrow's team we will play up to our ability. Doesn't mean we are any good just because we work hard. By the way King Kev gives away more fouls in and around the box than anyone in the EPL.
