Robinho is a done deal says Kenyon

Chelsea
comment on the article

Chelsea are close to signing Real Madrid forward Robinho, according to Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon.

"Everybody expected negotiations to go close to the wire and that's what it will do but we're confident it will happen," he told BBC London 94.9.

"There are no hitches it's just a lengthy process."

Reports have suggested that the 24-year-old Brazil international, who is contracted to Real until 2010, could cost the Blues about £30m.

Why??
This isn't in the interest of the game, which is being priced out of the reach of the average working man.
This is elitism with plutocratic overtones: a club with more money than sense: nobody on this earth, footballer or otherwise, is worth "millions"! Salaries and Fees have rocketed beyond all common sense; it's obscene...

Mr Mourinho - Great news!
He's a fantastic captain.

I'm a bit surprised though that he's won it for last season.
I thought his performances were not as good as the two seasons before. He was also out a fair while with injury.

It's a fantastic honour and I'm delighted but, I just feel there were others like Rio F. for example that, last season were more consistent.

What do you think?

Don't care who the captain of England is, firstly they have got to start playing proper footie, and realise that Lamps, Gerrard and cant play together
