It should have been Gallas...Arsenal by Athos (U3364803) 26 August 2008 Not being funny, but when Hamburg expressed an interest in Gallas we should have taken it... Senderos going is madness... I also would have kept Gilberto and the suad would have looked like this: Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

Chelsea Fan (U7011202) posted Aug 27, 2008 Football is about winning. When supporters start talking about "investments" and "balancing the books" I turn off. Let the business types deal with that. When it comes to the coaching and on field play, it's football that matters.

MattAFCKent (U9295790) posted Aug 27, 2008 I agree Senderos is not good enough to help win the league but simple facts are when he leaves no one better will replace and we'll end up with utility players covering by Xmas. The only driver for this deal can be to save on his wages! How poor is our club?? Wenger says he'll not panic buy!! Well if he'd started to negotiate a month ago when he sold Gilberto he'd not have to panic would he. I've never criticised Wenger before but without a deals man (a la Dien) at the club we are buying no one ready for the first team before the transfer window because Wenger ain't got time and we'll not throw money at what is for sure a big CM / CB issue.

npattoh (U2724319) posted Aug 27, 2008 Senderos is the worst defender. Worse than Campbell but i am not happy with the way Wenger is letting all this clubs snatch players from Arsenal. How are we ever meant to win anything with no players? Is wenger past it now?

Highbury-2de-Emirates Gooner (U8536796) posted Aug 27, 2008 When Flamini went we were told that he is joining a big club, its a step up for him. If that is true then Senderos move there too must say something about the qualities of the guy as footballer for I can't imagine any big club would want to sign mediocre players. So either milan are mad and we fans are right or Wenger and Milan know something about footballers that we fans need to learn. So my question is why does a supposedly big club like milan want a player of Senderos calibre unless he is really good. posted Aug 27, 2008 ware are leeds?? were on the up thanks very much, ever hear of ridsdale pal hes doing the same to cardiff,c u in the premiership in two seasons

Champnos (U7935976) posted Aug 30, 2008 Lets get a few things straight, Senderos cost us many games, he cannt hack the premier leagues pace and movement, the Italian League is far more suited to him. Ramsay is in as backup for Fabregas, hes a good player. We have money some say does it reall;y look like that? We have a great manager or is he losing his mind? He says the team is small but yet doesnt spend on any players. Anyhow a fuul strenth Arsenal is still a very good team, lets just see what happens on route to transfer deadline day!
