Not being funny, but when Hamburg expressed an interest in Gallas we should have taken it... Senderos going is madness... I also would have kept Gilberto and the suad would have looked like this:

GK: Almunia/Fabianski
LB: Clichy/Silvestre
CB: Senderos/?
CB: Toure/Djourou
RB: Sanga/Eboue
LW: Nasri/Rosicky
CM: Gilberto/?
CM: Fabregas/Denilson or Diaby or Ramsey
RW: ?
CF: Adebayor/Bendtner
CF: Van Persie/Walcott/Eduardo

the ? is put in where I think a new player is reuired... I know Rosicky could be put on the wing but, as he is SO injury prone, he should be back-up and Theo aint a winger but playing him there is destroying his confidence!!! We need a CM as a matter of urgency and a CB!!!

Football is about winning. When supporters start talking about "investments" and "balancing the books" I turn off. Let the business types deal with that. When it comes to the coaching and on field play, it's football that matters.

Hence I'm not make a good Arsenal supporter. laugh

I agree Senderos is not good enough to help win the league but simple facts are when he leaves no one better will replace and we'll end up with utility players covering by Xmas. The only driver for this deal can be to save on his wages! How poor is our club?? Wenger says he'll not panic buy!! Well if he'd started to negotiate a month ago when he sold Gilberto he'd not have to panic would he. I've never criticised Wenger before but without a deals man (a la Dien) at the club we are buying no one ready for the first team before the transfer window because Wenger ain't got time and we'll not throw money at what is for sure a big CM / CB issue.

GK: Almunia/Fabianski
LB: Clichy/Silvestre
CB: Gallas/Song
CB: Toure/Djourou
RB: Sanga/Eboue
LW: Nasri*/Rosicky*
DM: Denilson/Diaby
CM: Fabregas/Ramsey
RW: Walcott/**
CF: Adebayor/Bendtner
CF: Van Persie/Eduardo/Vela

To conclude, two injury prone DM.
Strike force is fine.
We need a world class D.M too support Fabregas.
One more versatile defender who could play across the back and a d.m would boost title hopes.
right now its not looking great, i think song has an important role this year.. our only player who can play both CB n DM.

"Football is about winning..."

Yes, to glory hunters....

"When supporters start talking about balancing the books"

That's what Leeds fans were saying until they went bankrupt - where are they now?

Senderos is the worst defender. Worse than Campbell but i am not happy with the way Wenger is letting all this clubs snatch players from Arsenal. How are we ever meant to win anything with no players? Is wenger past it now?

When Flamini went we were told that he is joining a big club, its a step up for him. If that is true then Senderos move there too must say something about the qualities of the guy as footballer for I can't imagine any big club would want to sign mediocre players. So either milan are mad and we fans are right or Wenger and Milan know something about footballers that we fans need to learn. So my question is why does a supposedly big club like milan want a player of Senderos calibre unless he is really good.

I'm begining to think Monsieur Wenger is too stubborn for his own good. How many times have we heard that next year will be our year? He must accept that experience is needed alongside youth to be succesful.

His comments after the Fulham game were alarming to say the least. It is not a case of panic buying a midfielder after one defeat, we have needed an experienced defensive midfielder since Giberto Silva and Flamini left.

Coincidently, does anyone think Ramsey has been bought in as a replacement for Fabregas when the inevitable happens? The way things are going I can see this season being his last in an Arsenal shirt.

Lets get a few things straight, Senderos cost us many games, he cannt hack the premier leagues pace and movement, the Italian League is far more suited to him. Ramsay is in as backup for Fabregas, hes a good player. We have money some say does it reall;y look like that? We have a great manager or is he losing his mind? He says the team is small but yet doesnt spend on any players. Anyhow a fuul strenth Arsenal is still a very good team, lets just see what happens on route to transfer deadline day!
