Only 2 or 3 (World Class) Players Short !!

Well, Just A Week To Go Before The Transfer Window Shuts.

Chairman, Managers, Players and The Fans all believe we are;

"Just short of 2 or 3 World Class Players, and we can can really go somewhere this season!".

If Only Life Was That Simple!

But, Come On, It's Only 2 Games In, Maybe It Is!

1. Who Are The Two or Three You Need?

2. Who Have You Been Linked With, That You Definately Don't?

And

3. Who Is The One Player At Your Club, You Simply Can't Afford To Lose In The Next 7 Days?

What he said. Only one confirmed "refusal" Tiago, who doesn't fancy the PL. Moutinho and M'Bia actually requested to be allowed to join. As far as we know Love had no problem with it either, so care to tell us who all these world class players who are turning that down are?

Im a leeds fan but ill do this for Spurs

1.Volkan Derimal , Jan Klaas Huntelaar and Juliano belleti[not sure if they have been linked with him tho]

2.Forlan , ive never really seen him play

3.Ledley king and Alan Hutton . the 2 good defenders spurs have . i would rather keep berbatov but if he is gunna have bad attitude towards Guus Poitet :O:O id let him go to another PREM club.

Leeds to win league one and be back with all the top teams in a few years !

Good to see that Mark Hughes is clearing all the dross away from Eastlands apart from the Chairman.

Bianchi sold, Castillos now going tomorrow,Caicedo soon I expect. Maybe Garrido then.

Kompany in, Jo in and hopefully Taksin out

the term 'world class' is a dubious one and realistically, such players are the preserve of The Top Four by definition - unless they are using your club as a stepping stone a la Berbatov.

What most clubs need are actually one or two more Premier-League-Class players, surely?

If Leeds ever get back to the Premier League, their supporters will have to pass the Fit and Proper Crowd Rules and they've no chance of doing that. LOL Anyway Tesco will buy the ground before that happens.

Good luck though against Hartlepool and Southend

Newcastle:

1. we need: LB - N'Zogbia is a fast paced skilful winger, not Reberto Carlos.

AMF - since Emres departure we have been trying to get a creative midfielder in (Modric,Aimar most notably) to no avail. we could do with at least one in before the window slams shut.

CF - Smith and Ameobi (who both look like staying) just dont cut it. Smiths really a midfielder now not a striker. everyone looks back to his Leeds days which i may remind you, was a long time ago. hes now a midfielder and looks absent when placed upfront. Ameobi is incredibly injury prone, hes not bad if he gets a clean shot infront of goal and does some decent play but hes not in the same bracket as Martins,Owen and Viduka. we need another CF.

if theres still time i think we could possibly do with finding a replacement for Faye who went to Stoke. he was our best CB last season IMO and im not sure why we sold him. Coloccini seems to be truely class, best CB since we had Woodgate. but Taylor still has alot to learn and if we want to get somewhere i dont think we can carry on putting up with his mistakes. hopefully he will learn from Coloccini like Keegan wants.

2.we were linked with Senderos, who thankfully for us seems to be on his way to Milan. a replacement CB is the 4th thing on the list we need. we need another LB more.

we were also linked with Saviola, as much as id love him to come and join or growing Argentinian contingent, i think we could do with a Viduka type striker more than a small fast paced one. but as Ameobi seems to be staying having another fast paced striker would be the best option. we have been linked with Valencias Zigic who is a mountain of a player, im not sure about his quality though.

3. theres more than one. we cant afford to lose Given, hes is truely world class and as much as i think Harper is a great keeper, hes not as good as Given. mainly down to his lack of experience.

we definitely cant afford to lose Owen or Martins. we have a pretty small squad now and we cant seriously afford to sell anyone in reality.

Liverpool's potential singing of Albert Riera hasn't impressed me that much if I'm honest.

He wasn't that good at Man City a few seasons back so he must have improved by a hell of a lot to be wanted by Rafa.

I would prefer some-one more high profile but if he performs and wins us matches then I won't be complaining then!
