Good KompanyPremier League Manchester City by Giventime (U7002586) 24 August 2008 Liked the look of this player. Good in the tackle and some clever passes. Hope he can stay in the defensive midfield role and not be needed to backfill for Micha. We seem to be developing a balanced and strong team through the middle. Need to sort out the flanks (LB abd RW) now. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

fantasticlucien (U9684092) posted Aug 24, 2008 I am a Kompany fan and I found him not so good as he can be. He certainly needs time to get used to its new team. But yes, for a first time, it was promising. And indeed, I hope he can keep on playing as dm. Good luck to MC for this season !

sukihammer (U6036801) posted Aug 24, 2008 well done to city we the hammers needed to be shot. I said we had a lucky win last week. The team was crap I was jumpin up and down when Cole was injured simple coz he was pee ing me off he doesn't chase he just stands still he was useless Alan Curbs has to go his lost the plot and so do Boa Morta, Lucas Neill and Charlton Cole. Is west ham board and curbs telling me that Solano and Ljundberg are not better then Faubert. Great move idiots get rid of 2 great players and leave a bunch of Muppet's. we need 4 good signings man of the match for us was Mark Noble ( he did well to come off great players can see whats coming)

aggersforcaptain (U12740115) posted Aug 26, 2008 Agreed we need more options on the flanks but it has to be said that Ireland did a terrific job. Perhaps Hughsey is just the no-nonsense manager that he needs. There is real ability in that lads boots and he could go on to be an excellent player. Comment on this article
