Ramos: Berba not good for the dressing room

Premier League Tottenham Hotspur
comment on the article

From the official site - www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new...

"As I said on Thursday, I needed to wait and speak to the player when he returned from international duty and then make a decision about whether or not he was right to play in this game. I have not selected him as I do not think that he is focused enough and I do not feel that he will be good for the dressing room and the team effort.

"It doesn't matter how good a player is, if he is not in the right frame of mind, then he will not perform well. The only thing I concern myself with is picking the best team to try and win the game."

I do not understand why on earth this saga is still going on its starting to go on longer than the ronaldo saga, I think its man utd lol. In my opinion if a player wants to go and its got to the stage where he is clearly fit but the club wont play him becuase ''his head is not in the right frame of mind'' but he still plays a friendly for his country and scores 2 then you have to let him go. If i was tottenham. I turn round to utd and say 20 million deal or no deal becuase the fact is there are many clubs out there who would buy him for 20 million.

If i was ramos id cash in of berbatov already cashed in a bargin from keane and go out and buy a world class centre forward some like adriano or luis fabiano to play along side bent

I have noticed that Mr Blatter hasn't swung in his size 9s to express his dismay at Berbatov being treated like a slave, but then of course his beloved Madrid aren't on course for gaining anything in this deal are they? Hypocritical oaf.

Rant over. I'm sure this has been said above, but I haven't once heard anyone from ManUtd use the name Berbatov or mentioned Spurs targets. Only the press has publicly stated that. MU will allow the press to do so as it obviously aids them, but they have neither confirmed nor denied the approach themselves. As such, they haven't done anything wrong - only the media have stirred up the situation.

Real constantly talked about how great it would be if Ronaldo came and how it is unfortunate that MU [are so cruel, the slave drivers, and] won't let him leave.

There are also clear footballing aspirations for Berbatov - moving into a Champion's League team. That's got to be accepted for a 28 year old. I doubt he'd still be playing when Spurs make it there. I mean no disrespect - I'd love Spurs to break into the top 4 personally, but I can't see it happening in what is left of Berb's career.

To oli 1983 u say berbatov aint worth 30 mil? which i disagree with in modern day football anyway. So is rooney worth 28 mil? i dnt think so plus berbatov is better. As a Spurs fan id rather sell him to barcelona for 20 mil than sell him to salford united for 25 mil.. FACT

It should be simple really. Man Utd pay a fair price for Berbatov and Spurs pay a fair price for Arshaven. Everyone happy? Or not it seems. It's like a petty playground squabble where at least kids can be forgiven for not having the experience of life. However this is between two highly professional football clubs who are run as businesses. It's embarrasing !!

Something has to sell Murdoch's papers before they are put to better use as chip wrappers smiley

Can someone tell me what the difference is with the berbatov deal and now milner...

Both players say they want to leave and hand in a transfer request..

so if newcastle do not want to sell milner and a club comes in with a bid does that mean all the papers will go nuts about the deal and all newcastle fans will be mad..?

its just the hype around the big four and spurs trying to stand up to them.. things are never goin to change..

on another note spurs have tried to change too many players and its not going to work for them..

Are you delusional, £20m plus £8m in add ons should certain achievements occur for the best teenager Britain has produced since Gazza, is worse value than £32m for a 27 year old, who is not really in the same bracket.

Rooney hating is one thing the British press and general public love doing but the fact is he is a truly excellent player. And bringing his fee into the question merely shows how limited your football knowledge is, as at £20m for him then Berba is only a £18m tops player, sorry.

Quote:
"Tottenham are willing to make Dimitar Berbatov play reserve-team football if they do not receive a suitable offer for the striker from Manchester United.
Spurs are understood to be looking for at least £30million for the 27-year-old - who has handed in a transfer request in pursuit of a move to Old Trafford - and they are waiting for a bid from United before the end of the transfer window".

If I was the top brick in MAN UTD I would take the first best flight to Amsterdam and offer Ajax £30 million for Klas-Jaan Huntelaar now wouldn't that be a sweet kick in the Spurs misers teeth.

I might be a Swede but my heart lays in Manchester loveblush
