HUNTELAAR!!!!

Premier League Manchester United
comment on the article

Bit of venting here....

I'm not one for signing players just because everyone else is doing it but we do need a different option up front.
I do have the upmost faith in SAF but he does sometimes spend too long chasing transfers down blind alleys.
Two seasons ago when we signed Carrick, great signing, we still needed another midfielder for the upcoming season. Hargreaves was the choice, so SAF spent all summer chasing him and didn't get him until the following year. This showed two seasons ago when our midfield got ripped apart at the san siro as SAF admitted he ran out of players.

Now the midfield is sorted for now we as SAF has said need a striker to give us different options. Is it worth Utd's while chasing Berbatov all summer only not to get him and come May we are told that we lacked striking options. Something that has been said all summer.

Now that Santa Cruz has signed a new deal at Blackburn and Spurs are lookin to not sell Berbatov to us shouldn't we go for Huntelaar in a deal that looks like it could be done in one day?

anderson - £18m of useless rubbish - his contribution to your side last year - 1 assist, thats it. Even derby's signings, (all of them, collectively, worth less than 18m) made a better contribution to the PL.

The stats may say one thing but if you actually watched United last season you'll have seen he contributed alot to the team and is still very young.

Stop complaining just because your club is going to League 1.

Another player isn't going to add anything to your squad, look at anderson - £18m of useless rubbish - his contribution to your side last year - 1 assist, thats it.

I think all this hype about getting great strikers seems to be ridiculous. Man Utd have to realise that they have the talent in order to win things. They just have to use it. Rooney and Tevez have got to start grabbing their own goals and stop setting up golden boy Ronaldo all the time. They would work better as a team if they did things together, not let one prissy winger grab all the goals and glory.

Anderson useless rubbish? You really are on another planet! He just played 5 of Brazils last six games, flew back from China overnight and played at Pompey 18 hours later and was the player of the match.!!! Oh and he's just 20 years old. I bet you had some useless rubbish like him. Outstanding future.

Pazzini!

Odd choice but perfect. I know no one listens to me at any of hte big clubs because i keep tellimg them how to fix their problems, then they go and do something else and screw it all up, but here is my advice for Manchester:

Pazzini!

He is young, hungry and fast. He knows how to work tactically but he is a goal scorer not another bumper on the pinball table. He is a pest, is comfortable with bump and grind and speed of the UK (ok only 2 games versus everton).

But mostly, emphasise Hungry. He wants it and that works well with Rooney, Tevez, etc..

Just a thought, but once again I will probably be ignored. oofee!

How can Anderson be called rubbish? He's 20 & already broken into the Brazil midfield. & achievements last season mean nothing, the idea is to improve every season to remain one step ahead, Fergeson see's buying a new striker as a way of doing this so the PL & Cl can be won again. I understand many dont sympathise with Man Utd needing more attacking support, but no matter what you say, its simply because your jealous & dont want to see Man Utd become even more powerful. 2 strikers can not be relied on due to injury risks or national duty, Chelsea used to have Shevchenko, Drogba, Kalou, Pizzaro & J.Cole supporting but Man Utd wanting a 3rd is ridiculous? No

As for a striker, i like the thought of Agbonlahor using his pace to finish every chance Man Utd's creative midfield provide however he is unlikely to leave Villa. Huntelaar is risky as nobody knows how he would settle, Thierry Henry would be good as he hopes to find his form which he left behind in England, nobody can deny he was a magician infront of goal for Arsenal & its possible he would work well witht he Utd squad.

Some idiot said we did not need a central midfielder as well as a striker. Are you blind? Utd midfield is poor and have got away with it due to Ronaldo's form. We have been totally outclassed by Barcelona and St Petersburgh. Get real. Man Utd are good. Ronaldo is Great. Tevez is Great. However there are some very average players in the team who get exposed.
