Iwilltellyouthis (U11004471) posted Aug 21, 2008 Thanks, jollyTopper, I was going to make the same point. Two people sitting in a boat telling us what was happening at the first buoy rather than the cameras concentrating on the sailors!! And as if to emphasize their stupidity they did again a few minutes later!

deathroller (U13133420) posted Aug 21, 2008 another fantastic result for GB sailing - but why did the TV coverage switch to Robertson and Walker in the Rib twice in the race - in particular as the GB boat rounded the windward mark for the first time? The BBC sailing reports have been great but can't you keep the talking heads invisible next time and let us see the whole race?

algarverichard (U11280774) posted Aug 21, 2008 I have to agree the cuts to Ron and Shirley at critical times was very bad, also there was a great shot at the medal ceremony where Ian and Bart placed their Gold medals over Coach and mentor the supersonic Sid David Howlett; please BBC show this again as David in China missed it obviously and many people who know how hard he worked and the enormous input he gave would like to see it again, many thanks Richard Comment on this article |
