We met a guy in York yesterday, he'd come from Birmingham for all 4 days, he'd paid £800 for the week for Accomdation!

What's the going like at Ascot? The going there must still be Good To firm. They could switch part of the meeting there for Saturday if somebody moved quickly enough.

They are looking at relocating the big races, Newmarket on Saturday could take a couple of them.

Is Doncaster on soon? Yorkshire Oaks at Ponte? smiley

I'm on the BHA Race Planning mailing list so as soon as they put out a release confirming where the races are to be run I'll let you know.

Shucks, thanks!

As with most things in racing though, it's not what you know, but who you know!

Fingers crossed the release will be out shortly - I'm checking my Inbox every few minutes!

Talks are still ongoing at BHA, though I know they want to get a press release out today.

I leave the office in 15 minutes, so won't pick up any emails before 9am tomorrow morning - hopefully they will have got themselves together by then and we will read it in the RP tomorrow.

If not, I will post the news when it comes through.

As someone from York - thank God it's off. At least we won't have the permatans from the North-east and Leeds and their husbands coming into York, getting drunk and puking all over the place.
