Giggs & Carrick add to United injury woesPremier League Manchester United by returnof50phead (U3646404) 17 August 2008  We seem to be having all our bad luck at once! Adding to an already long list of injuries suspensions and withdrawals (Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani, Hargreaves, Saha, Anderson, Park ji sung) now we learn Carrick is out for 3 weeks with a swollen ankle and Giggs has a hamstring injury (both came off injured in the match today). Hopefully we can ride out these 1st few weeks with the reserves until players start coming back. Although our early season fixture list is quite tough! Drew first game against Reading at home, went on to win the Premiership AND European Championship, while Reading got relegated.
