With the players Spurs have now, there is no way they should have lost to either Boro or Sunderland - and both Keane and Southgate relfected on this fact.

Joekernow (U12783927) posted Aug 28, 2008 Endtoend- Please dont give them the benefit of the doubt, they dont deserve it! There is no way we should have lost both games, our players/manager just have not clicked yet. A trip to Chelsea then an international break for 2 weeks. Probably going to go into late September with no points at all. Not a great time to support spurs

keano_08 (U13201371) posted Aug 28, 2008 Spurs are so overated! No disrespect but if you guys think that your going to make the top 5 then your mistaken. For a so called 'big' club its hard for me to understand this when you sell keane and possibly berbatov to ur rivals. And thats after selling Carrick a few years back. Right now spurs are just an average team. As for the sunderland game we throughly deserved the 3 points!

end2endgame (U12981753) posted Aug 28, 2008 philiptheboy1 - are you sure? I don't think so somehow. Stamford Bridge is one of the hardest places for visiting teams to get a result at - just ask Man Utd and Liverpool... anyway if Spurs can't beat Sunderland at home they don't stand a great chance of being able to beat Chelsea in their own back yard. Agree with some of your other points though. Huddlestone and Jenas are underrrated players but never been that impressed with Zokora to be honest. 2-0 to Chelsea.
