sukihammer (U6036801) posted Aug 16, 2008 over the moon we won but why IS Ashton takin free kicks he knows he gets injured doing things he can't I hope its not his hamstring the thought of Cole and boa morta upfront next Sunday is too scary to think about. like I mentioned before Solano is the only player we had last season who could do something from free kicks we need some specially gifted player who get goals from set pieces glad Etheringtons back AND SO SO HAPPY THAT SPURS GOT SMACKED OF THE FIELD IF ONLY LIVERPOOL HAD LOST THEN THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE BEST OPENING DAYS EVER

timeisrelative (U7606324) posted Aug 16, 2008 Business as usual at West Ham - brilliant at times, run ragged at others, injuries to key players etc. Still, we have a poor record against Wigan at home so three points is very welcome. Ashton was excellent, and although we were overrun in midfield in the second half I'm a happy man tonight, especially as Spurs lost!

sukihammer (U6036801) posted Aug 18, 2008 we have to admit wigan was all over us in the second half we was lucky Zaki lost his shooting boot after his first goal. Had we given the ball away as easy in the midfield and as Lucas Neill did at times we will probably got hammered by a better team. Faubert and Bahrami looked very good Ashton was class and did'nt James and Paul Robinson do well on Sunday to earn a England call up why Green not picked in the squad I dont know. we need a left back... we should go for Wayne Bridge unless his happy keeping the bench warm for chelsea lets bring back Joe Cole we are suppose to have millionaire in charge SO WHY don't we then buy quality players. why buy crap lets really try to push for Europe. HERE WHY NOT OFFER MONEY TO CHELSEA AND GIVE EM BOA MORTA IN EXCHANGE AS GOOD WILL.
