Woulnt get too excited about Pompey using the money from Pedro's sale for anyone incoming.

The story line on the OS suggest's he has been sold to balance the books. Not Impressed.

I suggested Taylor yesterday although to be honest there's more chance of Quashie coming back to partner Diarra in central midfield!!!

Taylor's in the past, he's found his level LOWER PREMIER!, just like GO'N, time for Pompey to spend?, will they spend well i've heard Pompey cant afford fee's, cant do this cant do that!, then sign Younes Kaboul for £5m, ever thought Harry/Storrie might say thing's to lower fee's/expecetion?

While I liked Taylor, I think he peaked at Pompey, and his last season with us was not as good as the one before.

It is not often that a player returns to a club, and performs better than he did first time round. With Crouch still being a youngster, I am confident that he will 'buck the trend'.

I think COD has it sussed, just wish others would stop fretting about what the club say they will/won`t/can / can`t do. No one wants to pay th efirst price a club quote for a player. Pompey try to get the best deals they can in terms of VFM, so suggesting they can`t afford etc, etc might just get sellers to drop prices as we get nearer to the deadline. ANy one who winges about not enough being spent, or not enough top signings being made is being completely unrealistic. I `ve been supporting the club for a long time and can remember missing out on promotion for the want of £200k to get John Taylor from Cambridge years ago. I think we `re doing ok now under Sacha. I`d rather they managed the finances than committed finacial suicide.
