Derick Gainer pulls out of Amir Khan fight!

Former feather weight world champ Derick Gainer has pulled out of the Amir Khan fight because "I don't fight just for the money and I need more than 3 1/2 weeks notice before a fight". Frank Warren is trying to find a late substitute for the 6th of september but has no doubts the fight will go on ahead. He is looking at latino wbo champ (Jose "el gallo" Reyes) who has a record of 23-4(8) and yes a former feather weight lol, but hes had 5 fights at light weight. Jose Reyes is ranked no 8 by the WBO.

UPDATE:
Amir Khan will now face columbian puncher Breidis Prescott 19 wins, no losses and 17 KOs. If Khan pulls this off, then he will answer all problems, if he doesn't though, hes ruined. The columbian is 6ft tall and has fought at LWW in the past, hes rank no 14 WBA.

SKY SPORTS HAVE PUT KHAN ON A PAY PER VIEW EVENT AND WITH THAT OTHER JOKER/DELUDED FOOL AUDLEY HARRISON,ITS A DISGRACE THAT THEY ASK £15 FOR IT. KHAN IS A TYPICAL PROTECTED FRANK WARREN FIGHTER HE WILL GET KNOCKED OUT WHEN HE FIGHTS SOMEONE WITH REAL CLASS AND NOT THE JOKERS HES BEEN STRUGGLING TO BEAT.MICHEAL GOMEZ FOR EXAMPLE WHOS A WASHED OUT FEATHER WEIGHT WHO PUT KHAN DOWN LOL.

Prescott is rangy, has a decent right hand but no lateral movement. It'll be over inside 3.

If this fight was on ITV I'd watch it no problem. Am I willing to pay £15 to watch Amir Khan face another hand picked opponent? No chance. Who else will be boycotting?

Joke of a fight.

This Prescott guy is a nobody with a padded record. Warren thinks that the public will be fooled because he's unbeaten. Same as that North African that Enzo Mac fought.

Maybe he's right. But he ain't getting £15 from offa me.

Another hyped fighter for Khan to dispose of in another defense of his Mickey Mouse belt. How is he ever going to improve if he doesnt gradually get a higher calibre opponent?

Boxing has long been part of my life but this is beyond taking the biscuit. I'd watch this event on ITV with adverts for free but I have no intentions of watching Khan and Fraudley "£1 Million" Harrison fight hand-picked chums Frank "The Bank" calls a "testing" fighter for 15 pounds a pop. I'll be spending my hard earned cash elsewhere this Saturday evening.

I dont know the exact fight records but why is it David hay has had approx 22 fights - Won numerous world titals, unified the division and done all he can at cruiserweight so has moved up to heavyweight.

Then we have Khan whos had approx 17 fights thought no body at all, ducked a british tital shot and has been knocked down on a number of occations.

Yet we have to pay for sky tv then another £15 just to watch Khan - Who does he think he is ?

Has anyone complained to sky regarding this total ripp off to boxing fans ?

Makes me laugh. Willie Limond had Khan beat but I reckon he was told to back off. After knocking him down he never hit him again. I guess Mr Prescott doesn't play by the same rules. Time for a reality check for Khan.
