The most gutting news for GB basketball fans is the news that Luol Deng can not play for Gb this year due to the pathetic NBA insurance company denying him cover for his back! Yes folks his back. Earlier in the year he had slight back injury, which he ended up having an mri scan. Because of this the insurance company won''t cover this part of his body. This is a true blow to our chances of qualifying. It's another kick in the teeth to the sport in this country, and just shows it one rule for one & one rule for another. Im sure Dwayne Wade could count on both hands how many mri scans he had last year yet he is competing in the Olympics.
