Deng to miss GB games

The most gutting news for GB basketball fans is the news that Luol Deng can not play for Gb this year due to the pathetic NBA insurance company denying him cover for his back! Yes folks his back. Earlier in the year he had slight back injury, which he ended up having an mri scan. Because of this the insurance company won''t cover this part of his body. This is a true blow to our chances of qualifying. It's another kick in the teeth to the sport in this country, and just shows it one rule for one & one rule for another. Im sure Dwayne Wade could count on both hands how many mri scans he had last year yet he is competing in the Olympics. Keep supporting the guys peeps, i'm sure they will do us proud what ever the outcome.

PIG SICK, BUT KEEP SUPPORTING TEAM GB. SPREAD THE WORD.

He just signed a mega-million near "max" contract with one of the most popular NBA teams in the world. His back kept him out of several games last season. It sucks, but I don't really blame them for them not wanting to take the risk.

I guess we'll have to hope that Ben Gordon signs for a European side (see today's comments on nba.com) - or we'll never see him in a GB shirt either. sadface
