Barry is better off at Villa.
He will play all the time if fit and this would not be the case at Liverpool under Rafas rotation system.
This is also better for England as we do not want our best players sitting on the bench
Clubs shouldnt come in for players and unsettle them if they havent got the money to back it up

Villa to do well in the Leauge and have good run in Europe. Liverpool to match Villa in Leauge but get knocked out of Europe.

BREAKING NEWS. Villa to offer 5M for Stevie.G as Liverpool no lomger in Europe and we can offer him Euro football. As he is good friends with Barry and he wants to keep his England spot. We can afford him but you can't afford Barry LOL

He too a slight knock in training on the Wednesday night and MON didnt want to risk him.

The big mystery is why Shaun Maloney wasnt even on the bench, he is a player we need to keep hold of.

I read it in the forum section of avfcblog.com

someone posted this in the match thread: John Carew misses out after sustaining a slight calf strain in training last night. The Norwegian should be fit for Sunday's Barclays Premier League opener against Manchester City but is not risked tonight.

This info was correct as it confirms it on the Villa vs man City match page.

i tend to go on there alot as they have alot of posters so it is almost always up to date so that saves looking around all the sports sites (dont even bother with the offical site is useless!)
