Fernando Alonso making mistakes

Formula One

Has anyone noticed that Alonso is making quite a few mistakes in recent races?? His German Grand Prix performance was awful as was his French Grand Prix. I'd say that Piquet has definately got the upper hand on him at the moment on the pure reason that he is racing much much better than him.

The-Serial-Kisser (U11777767) and tina 4 u personally I think Lewis is the best driver certainly the most natural gifted driver on that grid and let's remember (if you can) he's only in his second season. And don't you dare say he's been the best driver this season "even though he's in a crap car". Crap excuses, he's had a crap summer in all and he's making more mistakes than Yuji Ide did. To be honest I never once saw Schumacher make mistakes in struggling cars, so don't say "it's the cars fault". All of a sudden people like you two think F1 cars are Herbie's all of a sudden. Well you know what and this may shock you, THEY AREN'T!

I witnessed Schumacher spinning out of the 1993 European Grand Prix yesterday just for starters McFerrari.

It wouldn't be difficult to make more mistakes than Yuji Ide in a 7 season career given that Ide was around only for a few races. The big difference is all the wins, poles and the 2 titles of course. Perspective!

petrolhead98 (U7718822) 1993??! Is that how far back you had to claw your way back to find a Schumacher fault?! petrolhead98 (U7718822) live with it the man will never reach the heights and will never be as good as Schumacher. So there.

Yes it is, because that was the last time apart from 1996 that he had a midfield car =)

You determined the criteria by saying you never once saw Schumacher make a mistake in a struggling car. I'm merely setting you straight, not getting drawn into an arguement between the two drivers, despite your great efforts smiley

Schumacher made plenty of mistakes, often in good cars. Taking out DH in 94, trying again with JV in 97 and more recently his perfect parking at monaco are my highlights.

Also worth remembering that we've now lost traction control etc to try to increase errors and make it more exciting.

Alonso will have problems adding to his 2 world championships because he may never be in a championship winning car before the end of his career and even if he does he will have massive challenges from the likes of hamilton, kovalainen and the possibly rosberg, vettel and other quality young drivers who are improving all the time. His only chance is getting a drive with ferrari which is unlikely to happen as ferrari have 2 quality drivers and he can't go to mclaren and BMW have 2 drivers signed up for next year.

Mc Ferrari:

You have just proved my point stated in other threads that you have participated; in that you only have opinions with nothing to back them up.

You state in this thread:
"pedrorodr (U10278107) quite simply why should I listen to someone who prefers Indycar over F1??! Strange man who doesn't know what you're talking about I'm afraid"

PROVE IT

pedrorodr (U10278107) WHAT??! Is that what you mean by proving a point??? So it's not alonso related is it? Obviously not because I've said what I've said. You want points to be proven that Alonso isn't actually immature??? Why I've just read the new F1 Racing magazine and guess what! alan Henry (one of F1' most respected journalist) has said he was immature!!!! So I'm quite obviously right. You my son are an embarrassment.

McFerrari:

What I said in my post, is that you make opinionated statements without being objective and resorting to facts.

You made the following statement of me: “quite simply why should I listen to someone who prefers Indycar over F1??! Strange man who doesn't know what you're talking about I'm afraid.”

I am asking you to prove:
1. I prefer Indycar over F1.
2. I do not know what I am talking about.

If you can prove that, I promise I will stop reading and posting in this forum and leave it to be downgraded by people like you.
