I watched all the Rangers Uefa cup games last season and for the life of me could not work out why Cuellar isn't one of the first names on the Spanish team sheet in the euros, the Spaniards looked shakey at times and he is one world class defenders. What a catch for Villa, for me he's gotta be one of the top 5 centre backs in the EPL.

You all seem to forget that even before Sky the English league was still far superior to the Scottish league.

Reaching a European Cup Final, wether it be Chelsea ,who you slagged, off or any Scottish team. Ranger and Celtic have both been in European Finals in recent years. That, my smug for no reason friend, is a good season in anyone's book.

oh Robes, come on mate, it is threatening to be a civil thread again .

As a travelling Bournemouth fan who also likes Villa (ok a bit gloryhunting!), I think the OF are bigger than Villa, but this whole debate has lead to some pretty patronising comments about Villa. I think we are traditionally a 'top 7/8?' side, but, like most teams, we can waver a little. Anyway, best of luck to Rangers for the season!!

If you had bothered to read the whole saga, you'd have known that people were correcting me for minor mistakes not vice-versa. I was merely pointing out that his posts were just as bad if not worse than mine.

AND starting a sentence with AND is bad form, not to mention the fact that you didn't use a capitol letter.

Your wrong! You're in fact an idiot. As I already explained, I type quickly and don't re-read every last thing to make sure it's perfect, I'm just here to get a point across, but to win a spelling and grammar contest!

its just funny to see someone puffed-up with their own self-importance trying to point out others mistakes whilst being completely ignorant of their own.

also, most of the mistakes on here i can handle, cos it shows that you're just lazy, which not only can i condone, i can completely understand. however the whole your/you're thing is a mortal sin and highlights a tragic gap in your education.
