howcome a Saudi referee is handled an Olympic game, when he is unable to referee a game in the silly Saudi league?

What of Graham Poll who booked the Croatian Joseph Simunic twice and didnt send him off during the 2006 World Cup? Was he a referee in the 'silly Saudi league'? No he was a top English Premier League referee.

Brazil have great players on the field... the Brazil problem is more serious.. I love watching Brazil play but for their sake it would be good if they do not win this tournament then the CBF will wake up and give Dunga his papers before he leaves China..

How can such a great football Country be so incompetent selecting coaches... They never pick a good coach for the National team... The only good one for the National Team they have had in the past decade if Big Phil

Dunga simply does not know how to coach...

I am sorry to disagree with a number of comments here, i thought Ronnie played well... Diego and Pato on the other hand were useless..

Brazil needs a coach.. Brazil needs a coach yesterday... Dunga is over his head...he does not have the experience, the intelligence and the charisma to lead these talented players and his football philosophy transpires on the field

It's funny how the Football matches are kicked off straight away no messing about. The Olympic Comittee has peed off half the worlds' football league federations and they want their players back ASAP smiley

Anyone see the smog in the Holland v Nigeria game? I thought it was from fireworks in the stadium but no... I hope no one fails a dope test from the chemicals in the air.

without doubt the worst game of football i've seen in a very long time, everything from the players to the referee were awful. thank god the premiership is up and running next weekend so i won't have to endure anymore of this crap.

the ref didn't intefer in Brazil's goal.

By the way a colourful match with red and yellow cards poping up every now and then, a good way to advertise the Olympics???

heyyyyyyy guys this article is about argentina not brazil...

we dont care about brazil. They needed 2 sending-offs to beat belgium.

Argentina were good and I knew Ivory Coast would battle bravely like in the World Cup. Argentina need to improve though, and is it brave or stupid or naiv to play 3 men in defence??
