andrew betts and robert archibald are both players drafted into the NBA, both are centres.
there is also richard midgley and chris haslam who play for everton tigers.
two us collegiates are in the team aswell: kieron achara and eric boateng
two players to look out for on the czech team are jiri welsch and lubos barton

i really want to get into UK basketball, if not play then follow. but when we only have deng and gordon playing in the NBA for Chicago(who aren't really that good anyway (both team and players)) then it really doesn't seem inviting to try and get into.
i think i can safely say that we have no chance in the olympics (thats if we are there are we?)

Archibald has withdrew from the squad due to injury. Haslam was ever in the squad. However this is the best squad ever assembled, and though it is a blow to lose Archibald, Pops Mensa Bonsu is here….great talent! Just hoping Gordon can sort out his contract soon so he can suit up. Also there is the possibility of Sean Banks playing ( a standout in the NBA D League last season) Come on GB!!!
