No Arsenal fan, but Traore is going to be an immense player. Watched him wreck my own Carling Cup dreams last year!

In fact, Clichy, Fabregas, Wilshire, Barazite, Simpson, Merida, Nordveit, Nasri, Vela, Walcott, Denilson, Ramsey, Song - your probably talking the best group of under 21 players ever assembled by any club.

I don't overexaggerate when I state that Fabregas, Merida, Clichy, Wilshire, Denilson, Ramsey, Walcott, Nasris, and Vela, are nigh on certs to be top class players.

In fact, I'd say Merida is probably potentially better than Cesc Fabregas.

I know Traore is only 18 and as a Arsenal fan i have seen him play against lots of sides and frankly he just isnt good enough. some of the defending against Man U in the FA cup was appaling and i think if clichy had started we wouldnt have lost by such a big scoreline or maybe even got a draw. however he is young and we were playing Man U. he does need to get better before we even consider playing him in the premier league but he should stay and improve under wenger.

I think the long term plan for him is to play left wing, But he is a good understudy at left back. Let hope we have a good run in the CC as he needs the games.

Makes far too many mistakes and tries to be too cocky on the ball. I don't trust him, but maybe it is because he's young? I don't think there's any coincidence that our heavy defeats last season (vs Spurs and Utd) were when we had Traore and Hoyte in defence - they aren't up to it.... yet (I say hopefully).

Wenger has faith in them, as he does in Senderos - a lot of us would say misplaced. But for a couple of bad results, generally Wenger has built an incredible team from the resources he's used and I hope we finally get the right mix of conceding less this season, because we know we're almost always going to create and score.

When Ronaldo came to the prem he was too cocky and made mistakes but look at him now. Traore has huge potential.

I saw him play against Newcastle in the Carling cup and going forward he looked very good. Needs to pay attention to what's going on around him defensively. Gets too forward to much. Would be great on the wing or with more coaching a good left back.
