How can he work in Greece but not England? It's all Europe isn't it?

You might find it does him good, look at carlos vela at arsenal his work permit was turned down at first, now he has come back into the team looking like first team stock.

"already writing yourself off sunshine?

last time i looked it was known as the "top 4""

It is the top 4. But having finished in 4th, when you talk of the top three, Liverpool are not in it. Like you, not with it. And there is nothing about writing anything off, we were top three two seasons in a row before 07-08. Even so, many have said regardless of where Liverpool finish, top 3 will always be Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd. You can't win sometimes, albeit they are incorrect most of the time, some people, but still continue to spout.

Still doesnt take away the potential of Babel, on which you were clearly incorrect too.

look mate, i like your club. but its pretty blatant that with wingers like babel and kuyt you arent gonna win anything.

if you keep on looking throughyour red lenses and want to believe your players are all world class its fine by me. ....its just the mancs who will be laughing come May when the record of your club having never won the title since the backpass rule was introduced will still carry on

There is nothign about me seeing our layers as world class, they are not, not all of them. At best they are internationals but mainly they are parts of a whole and not the individual powered points the likes of Gerrard, Torres, Mascherano, Keane carry with themselves. I said Babel has potential, I didnt mention world class. UTd couldnt vouch to that either, they have parts that work better as a whole but with more better individual components powering the whole almost on a regular basis.

Practically Ronaldo won them the title twice and practically the CL, having scored the only goal for them. So world class they should have scored much more, no? As for us, we have a few more parts to add and more to actually left go of before we can strongly contend for the honours on all fronts regularly. Gaining those parts could include the likes of Babel and given Kuyt's start in the Euros, the other flying (around) Dutchman.

i think you'll find that kuyt and babel played as robben ad van persie were necver fully fit

its only a small point, but quite a big one to consider

and seeing as people were calling liverpool "Steven Gerrard FC" a few years ago, you're in no position to call the mancs a one man team

Why not? If they look that way, how can I call it different from what I see it as? Course people were calling LFC one player team when Owen ws there, now they do it with Gerrard. I dont entirely disagree we have one good out-and-out player in Gerrard, and now Torres, a little of Mascherano and now Keane. Add Barry to it and we will be accumulating more individual players who can also play as a whole. Because LFC maybe perceived as a one-player team doesnt mean I cannot call that to any other club. Come on, DL.

And I think you will find Babel didnt even play as he was injured during training. It's also immaterial why Kuyt got to play but who is to say if RVP was fit Kuyt wouldnt play? RVP only started the one game ahead of Kuyt and that was the meaningless 2-0 win over Romania, otherwise RVP was fit to be a sub in the first game, a sub in the second game, a starter for the Romania game and another sub appearance in the loss to Russia. And Kuyt started all games except for the Romania one.

How come he´s not allowed a work permit and Julio SantaCruz´s brother is allowed to play for Rovers?

are you seriously trying to say that Babel and Kuyt are better than van persie and robben

during his first season at chelsea, robben was one of the best players in the premiership. and whilst it pains me to say it, he is world class. kuyt is not

DL, you said if RVP and Robben were fit Kuyt would not have played. Well they both were, to what degree I dont know about Robben but RVP was as he came on as sub. Referring to your point, Kuyt started three out of four with RVP fit, even after RVP started and scored against Romania.

Unless you see the words 'Kuyt & Babel are better than RVP and Robben', then no I am not saying that. Clearly. Remember ti was down to the coach, not me.
