Kenwright's statement:Words cost nothing, but transfers do. So often we have heard that funds are available, but transfers are still slow to materialise, and incorporation into a squad takes time.If we are to move into a new stadium in a few years we will have to surmount the "new stadium effect", and with a small squad which tires itself out the end of the season may again be worrying.If Everton are to be taken seriously then we must act more authoritatively, get the players, and build up a good and respected squad.Chas CEFC Fan

GET KENWRIGHT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He has done nothing for our club and it is about time we had a true blue as our chairman. Moysey is a legend and we need him to carry on as he has done. We do need 5 or 6 players and i trust they will be the right players and not just last minute grab-ems but we need a new chairman aswell. One that is going to support our manager, one that will keep our club in OUR city and one that will give us 100% in every way shape or form. Kenwright get out now and let us move on like we should be, stop holding us back.
GET KENWRIGHT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He has done nothing for our club and it is about time we had a true blue as our chairman. -----------------------------------------------How does anyone reconcile the above comment as making sense?Kenwright is the most passionate "supporter" Chairman in the league, even to the point of making himself look a little too sentimental at times.As for doing nothing for the club, what a load of rubbish. Anyone remember Peter Johnson? Not only did Kenwright oust that true villain, he hired a relatively unknown manager whom he has kept faith with for years as we have climbed from perennial relagation strugglers into the best team outside the top 4. This was achieved in part because Kenwright, despite not being the richest man on Earth, has allowed Moyes to break the transfer record season on season, and will do so again this season.Importantly Kenwright has also stated that he will depart his role at the club, when a more suitable investor arrives. By this he means someone who will have the CLUBS interest at heart, not merely their wallet's interest. The simple fact is, that to non-Evertonians, Everton simply isn't THAT attractive an investment proposition for numerous reasons. Kenwright is slowly addressing those reasons, and we all have to accept that a new stadium will help to make us a better choice.Consider this Kenwright haters...if you really want him OUT, then get yourselves behind the Kirkby move - as this will actually speed up his departure. Only pray thought that we don't get some horrible American owners that plunge the club into an instant debt of hundreds of millions.
Another point to all the people "panic" posting, the "conspiracy" nuts and the downright negative...Remember why Newcastle is a laughing stock? Remeber why we think Liverpool is a laughing stock? And Spurs also?Mostly it is because of the grandiose stupidity of their supporters in getting way excited about the non-prudent things there boards get up to. Newcastle thinking they are the biggest club in the world / Sacking of managers cos they don't fulfill this belief.Spurs fans thinking that "this is the year" EVERY SEASON because they buy an entire new squad every year. And of course the Redscum thinking that two players makes a world class team that has divine rights to win.At Everton, we have sensible expectations which grow at a sensible rate, we have a prudent and careful manager supported by a decent Chairman, we have seen the fruits of this approach as we're slowing climbing back to our rightful place in football.Please supporters, I know we all care passionately about the club, but show some realism and faith in a club that, whilst contrasting to some other premier league clubs in method, is one of the success stories of the league.Calm down, newspaper fluff is exactly that. Worthless rhetorical fluff to fill up some empty space.
numsig = numnuts
Numsig = Numnuts!------------------------Yet more Liverpool fans reading the Everton threads! And this one makes an excellent point!

I'm not an Everton supporter, but follow them closely because I have a lot of respect for what they achieve without all the disgusting media manipulation. Listen to Numsig because he presents a well reasoned, well articulated argument, that shows Everton in a good light. I fail to understand Kenwright haters, or Moyes haters for the stability and progress they have brought to your club. Get behind them and show what loyal supporters you are.
For weeks now we've heard that funds are available and that moyes has his targets so why have we heard 2 or 3 faint interests and nothing substancial!the word patients is really gettin to me now because us as everton fans could wait forever but the season wont wait for us. When teams like fulham are splashing around about 30 million and wher not spending a penny its not looking good!!but hopefully ill be proved wrong and we'll get a few new faces in!
