waddy256 (U6575602) posted Aug 2, 2008 Seems to be a bit of a general "love in" between our 2 clubs due to the huge connection with Browny and the former BWFC stars. I personally have always had a soft spot for the Tiggers since that heady Friday night in '93, the second best away game ever (beaten only by Plovdiv away in Bourgas). Even the "Tennis Ball protest in the cup was amusing, tho it kicking off outside the Reebok wasn't a great experience. I wanted Hull to get promoted as I am sure many BWFC fans did and hope they do as well as possible in the Prem.

tigercity (U2124309) posted Aug 2, 2008 Unless we now put in a much improved offer & Megson is tempted to accept it, then it's looking unlikely. He risks the wrath of Trotters fans too who think a lot about KD (and rightly so)

happywanderer33 (U12832568) posted Aug 2, 2008 Kevin Davis must not be sold at any price he may not score many goals but his workrate and ability to hold the the ball up is as good as any striker/midfielder in the premiership, if he is sold Megson will face the biggest fan revolt in premiership history, the recennt situation at the wanderers reminds me of Coventry City in the early nineties when they were selling their best players season after season and it always ended up the same way A Season Long relegation scrap which ultimately they lost, this is what is in store for Wanderers if things start to go the same way.
