Could it be 3 in a row...?

Well it’s that time of the month again.

The F1 circus is in Hungary this weekend for what should hopefully be another exciting race (well, one can hope.....)

Could it be 3 wins in a row for British drivers after Jenson Button winning his one and only race there in 2006 and Lewis Hamilton taking victory in 2007?
In fact it would be a double-treble if Lewis Hamilton was to win again.

Based on the previous 2 meetings, McLaren would seem to be favourite but you can never rule out Ferrari, especially if the conditions are hot and dry.

BMW seem to have dropped off the pace recently so it will be interesting to see how they compare this weekend.

Are Renault going to continue their winning ways with NP Junior taking another podium... ;)

Kimi seems to think the recent problems have been down to tyres and they've now resolved that.

If so it could be an interesting weekend.

"Maybe Hekki will be on a high as he has been retained by VMM."

Ed, I agree, this could be Heikki's race?

I always pray for an interesting weekend (not always answered, though) - rain is predicted, so a strong possibility Hamilton will do the business again. Unless there is mayhem at the start.

dave pearch / ed bone

do you seriously think mc claren / ron dennis will allow H kova to beat hamilton fair and square for the rest of the season ,
i cant see it - even is kova does somehow get in front of lewis and match his pace , or even is a touch quicker , no way will dennis allow hamilton to lose vital points to his team mate ,

H kov is out of this years WDC , where as lewis is not , every point is vital for hamilton , not so for HK -
think h kova will very much ride shotgun for hamilton for the rest of the season , he is very likely under orders to hold up the 2 ferraris every chance he gets ,

to be honest not sure if kova has got a win in him let alone a championship , seems about as much use as a chocolate tea- pot --

“to be honest not sure if kova has got a win in him let alone a championship , seems about as much use as a chocolate tea- pot”

bit harsh xiggly, but on balance, justified. I hope getting his contract extended will give him the boost he needs to get regular podiums. Not sure why MM extended his contract so early. Maybe they thought it would boost his confidence or take off some of the pressure for not performing well. Time will tell if they’ve done the right thing. That said, cant think of any one who could move who would be much better.

I personally believe McClaren have been favouring one driver all season long! It is the only way Dennis will be able to deliver the championship this year. If he doesn't he has to go!

Having said that I will go with a Ferrari 1-2 in qualis. Ferrari usualy come up with the goods when it really matters.

A KR win if it is dry or wet (I don't think Ferrari will muck up their wet tactics again).

Who is this "McClaren" and what team does he work for? Not McLaren or Ferrari obviously.

I think it will be a very close race this weekend with Maclaren pipping it. They are usually strong here. Will be interesting to see how Ferrari get on, they are well known for sorting out any issues very quickly. Lets just hope for a good race and may the best man win.
