I have mixed feelings about Wyness leaving, but mostly for the good. I feel he did bring a finanical stabililty to the club, ok we still dont have much, but alot better than it used to be, but I can't help thinking that he was going to get a really big back hander if the Kirkby deal went through. There had to be something big for him considering he had tunnel vision over the ground move and SEEMED to blow off any proposed move within the city limits. I bet the plans get called in now, mmmmm something fishy there. As for Mallorca, his buddy just bought the club, need I go on. He'll be sippin' sangria and sammy miquel before you know it.
I here Sir Paul Mc Cartney is a Blue Nose I wonder if he would be interested in the post and maybe donated some of his wealth....hopefully before he marries again.

Moyes has been 'close' to signing his contract since the start of June, and each time it has been for the same reason that he wants players in first, if he was confident the funds were in place he would have signed a while ago, what he said today is no different to what he said the first couple of times, so does not mean much.

The truth will come out sooner or later, one way or another. One rumour after another, until one of them turns out to be true. The club should come clean and tell us the reasons for this, or they risk looking stupid when it does come out.

They should come out with some form of formal statement at least certainly. It just leads to endless speculation, more fun and games as an Everton fan sadface

I think Sir Mc has learnt his lesson with lame donkeys, don't expect any cash off him...

But seriously, you could attract attention from another rich benefactor, but not while the credit crunch is on.

The Credit Crunch affects people who think they are rich, not for people who are.. besides that who else has a bottomless pit of cash and supports the glorious blues????? On that note .... If you were a true blue and saw your club with the potential that Everton are on the verge of, why wouldn't throw 50 big ones in too see them succeed. Can you imagine David Moyes with 50mil in the kitty.........gives me a chill

A serious approach should be made to Macca. He is on record as a true Blue.Offer him (for a price!) the naming rights of the new stadium. After all,we do have the John Lennon airport.

If Wyness does roll up in Mallorca he'll have to get his Frey Bentos sent over on a cargo ship.
