BlueNoseGavin (U10648888) posted Jul 30, 2008 I have mixed feelings about Wyness leaving, but mostly for the good. I feel he did bring a finanical stabililty to the club, ok we still dont have much, but alot better than it used to be, but I can't help thinking that he was going to get a really big back hander if the Kirkby deal went through. There had to be something big for him considering he had tunnel vision over the ground move and SEEMED to blow off any proposed move within the city limits. I bet the plans get called in now, mmmmm something fishy there. As for Mallorca, his buddy just bought the club, need I go on. He'll be sippin' sangria and sammy miquel before you know it.

Gwladys Street 08/09 (U5722666) posted Jul 30, 2008 Moyes has been 'close' to signing his contract since the start of June, and each time it has been for the same reason that he wants players in first, if he was confident the funds were in place he would have signed a while ago, what he said today is no different to what he said the first couple of times, so does not mean much.

BlueNoseGavin (U10648888) posted Jul 30, 2008 The Credit Crunch affects people who think they are rich, not for people who are.. besides that who else has a bottomless pit of cash and supports the glorious blues????? On that note .... If you were a true blue and saw your club with the potential that Everton are on the verge of, why wouldn't throw 50 big ones in too see them succeed. Can you imagine David Moyes with 50mil in the kitty.........gives me a chill
