Spurs fan in peace..i can't believe the fuss over this deal. Keano has been a legend at spurs, and he deserved this once-in-a-lifetime chance to play for his favoured club. I for one will be applauding him when he comes back to white hart lane to play in a red shirt.

And Torres isn't going anywhere.

I never said he was o.k you dic, all I was saying was I very much doubt you'd be wishing Torres all the best if he went and signed for Man utd.

JamboGreg - "so he qualifies as a Brit"

He's Irish, so that makes him British anyway!!

Anyway stop crying like babies over the departure of Keane. I was saying it all this while that he will not hesitate to leave Spurs for the Kop!!!

oooooooooo think you need to have a think about this - he's IRISH not british. dear, dear......
Keano's not a straight swap for Crouch - he's more mobile and quicker - which should give Rafa more options. 3-5-2 maybe, 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2. Keane can play in the hole, to the right of Torres or with him in a 2 man attack.
I think it's a great signing - he'll score his fair share and take the pressure off Torres. Plus he's very clever and his link up play is very crafty.
Looking forward to seeing him in the no.7 shirt.biggrin

Did I hear my beautiful name mentioned? Somebody mention the fact I could be wrong? I would think this very unlikely. My ego simply won't allow it. ok

But you lied about what team you support to supposedly strengthen your argument, and then deleted your post where you tried to strengthen your "some fan you are" argument by mentioning that Liverpool have idiots in their support too. Proves nothing, I called you on it, and you know it.
Plus I'm a Hearts fan, so I don't give a monkey's where Torres plays.

Poor arguments all round. Well done that man... winkeye
