As you seem to have removed a lot of posts including crongtongs in particular perhaps you could explain why as your following post seems to suggest something about PEDs?
Objectivity would be welcome.

The guy who tested positive was Julien Dunkley and was part of the relay team.

Bushy-tailed JEE1.

Where did you get the names from. This may be how it was published but I doubt everything will go according to how it was laid out. Kerron Stewart for one will be one of the outside favurites to win gold in Beijing not a reserve. The reserve may end up being Fraser due to her recent losses to Veronica and her poor showing in Monaco. The women's 4x100 team is set in stone though (Fraser to Stewart to Simpson to Campbell Brown) and will win gold easily as long as the baton gets around smoothely. The men's 4x100 is looking like Frater to Asafa (Bolt would have been prefered but I think the height difference between him and Frater would present difficulties on the changeover)to Carter to Bolt. This team should once agin mine gold if the baton is passed around quickly but safely. It's gonna be a tough race between for gold in the individual men's race but I think Tyson Gay is destined...for third; Asafa should win if he executes properly.

As you say as long as they practice and develop a real team spirit.
Many times in the relays the fastest team on paper has lost to a team that has got its act together.
Some countries are spending vast amounts of money on their relay teams as an alternative to not winning individual events.
Hopefully some countries have learnt this lesson. However some seem to ignore this. They do so at their peril.

Fraser still finished second at Crystal Palace in 10.95, and it seems harsh to relegate her to reserve on that basis....

I really don't see any serious justification for overturning the results of the trials just to accommodate Campbell.

I honestlt am not concerend with accomodating Campbell; I am more concerned with putting our best medal chances on the track and right now Campbell seems to be ahead of Fraser in that respect. She has had a couple of 11s + performances since placing 3rd at the national championships while VCB seems to be peeking at the right time.

I don't they'll make the change, though they should, as Steven Francis (MVP track club head coach) is too outspoken, respected and influential to tick off by withdrawing his charge. He'll be championing her chances as vigourously as anyone and to be fair, she does have the ability to spring a medal winning performance.

I feel that the national trials should be just that - the national trials!

If Campbell finishes fourth, then she should only get into the selection if one of the three girls who finished ahead of her pulls out injured....
