Some great racing today, with the start of the Glorious Goodwood festival.

Todays racing comes from,BEVERLEY,GALWAY,GOODWOOD,
PERTH & WORCESTER.

I have 3 selections for today.

2.35 Beverley BONNY BRIGHT EYES

An absolute stinker of a race, and this is the only unexposed
one in the field.

Best Priced 6/1

2.15 Goodwood ILLUSTRIOUS BLUE

Trained down the road from me,and the trainer is in a rich vein of form and Goodwood is his track.

Best Priced 20/1

7.00 Galway ROYAL ASTRONOMER

I will never forget this horse,as i backed him at 270s on his
winning debut, was forced wide next time out at Dundalk and is open to further improvement.

Best Priced 20/1

Good Luck Everyone

Glsd a few of you backed Gyr. Had an unbelievable day at Goodwood. Had 6 winners, only one didnt back was Conduit. Never had a day at the races like it before. Cant wait till Thursday!

Excellent Kissair....just the one investment from me today as per Our Vics thread...at Galway as I felt Goodwood was too trappy and I was right, even though Conduit obliged !!

BTW Did you know that there was a famous French 3-y-o called GYR who finished second to Nijinsky in the 1970 Derby ?
I don't expect this Gyr to attain such heights !!

Yes i did know that Arkle. My Dad mentioned it. I took him up to Goodwood. We started off with a fiver each on Gulf Express, that took the kitty to £120. After that we each selected one each, just tenners only. He didnt pick one winner but gladly took half the winnings from my selections. By the end of the day our original £10 turned into £585. Plus a tidy profit from my Betfair account. Like I say, I have never known a day like it. Never had that amount of winners from one card before. Only wish that we had stepped up stakes a bit earlier. Had a decent bet on Gyr and got 7s first show so happy with that. Need to study up now. Any more info re Dunlops I will pass on.

Better quality Racing there tomorrow, however,I doubt that I will be investing anything...including HTN for that matter...rest on my laurels from Saturday, though may have another dabble at Galway...will check the fields tonight !!
