Jay_sonD (U12789356) posted Jul 29, 2008 Im suprised we let Johnson go frankly. I always thought he really gave us something in the second half of matches after Yakubu had knackered the opposition. Hes lightning quick which means opposition cant push up too much. I think EFC will miss him. Possibly his diasterous European two penalty miss sealed his fate. Ill still be sorry to see him go even at a slightly inflated price. Agree that 9mil would have been nearer the mark.

fulham_dave_b (U12792675) posted Jul 29, 2008 i dont think johnsons worth 13 million or however much it is, but im glad weve signed him. its a step in the right direction for fulham as hes a better class of player than we usually go for. i think with super jim providing him with the chances next eason he'll score 10 - 15 goals which shud be enough to see us avoid another relegation dog fight.

BlocFFC (U8067895) posted Jul 29, 2008 I think and hope that Healy will go. The 7 sub rule is pretty much made for Eddie Johnson, pace to use in the end and it wont put us out too much by him taking up one of the additional spots.

DixieBean (U1769837) posted Jul 31, 2008 What's happening with this deal, has it gone through yet? Still not seen any confirmed conclusion. Has it been delayed because of KW leaving? Could it still collapse? What's with the delay. £12M for AJ we need to bank it quick. Other clubs have concluded numerous deals in the time this AJ one has taken and as far as we were lead to believe is was all hunky dory! Need to bag Moutinho ASAP or maybe Wagner Love!
