Moutinho and MoyesPremier League Everton by SirG1bby (U3298500) 27 July 2008 Do you think that if we are fortunate enough to sign Moutinho it will show Moyesie that the board are there to back him and pave the way for him to sign his contract sooner rather than later? Moutinho would obviously be a welcome addition however I feel he may be bullied a little bit and not get the refs "protection". It is also concerning that the deal seems to rest on sales first.

For a dull and boring side such as Everton which you are suggesting, its amazing how much history we have, together with solid finish positions in the PL over the last 5 years and please note that this has been achieved with limited budgets and a relatively small squad.

He was made team captain at the age of 19... He can play holding midfield or attacking midefield equally well. Left or right winger as well... any position in midfield basically... And will also contribute with a few goals.
