diegoinhoops (U11635419) posted Jul 27, 2008 Totally agree with comments, would love to see him back to what he was before original injury, but worry that such serious injurys so young mean he ll never be the player he could have been, thing is, is the player he can be now good enough for Celtic? I know i might upset a few poeple by saying that but we should be realistic.

jamiebhoy73 (U12220252) posted Jul 27, 2008 I just hope that JFK manages to have an injury free 6 months. I still think that there's an outside chance that he'll team up with Mick to be our centre back pairing for the future. As I'm exiled down in England I'll try to take in a Norwich game when I'm not up at Paradise.

Tonester_7 (U9732930) posted Jul 27, 2008 All good sensible comments, JK was a fast improving defender prior to the injury and I, like many had high hopes that he would go on to become a top class player. Lets all hope he can get back to that standard and beyone to become a class act both for Celtic and Scotland again!

borednotstupid (U9032335) posted Jul 27, 2008 Riordan would be most welcome... we still need 2 .. both 6' plus.... and then we will have the best squad in the Championship (outside of QPR who seem to buy anything that walks..)

reekin86 (U11627324) posted Jul 27, 2008 As a passionate Celtic and Brighton fan, i'd like to put my fellow Celtic fans straight on Adam Virgo. Being an Albion fan i knew about Virgo a long time before he moved to Celtic and i know his style of play much more than 95% Celtic fans do. He was actually a really good player when he signed for Celtic a good strong versatile defender who did'nt moan and was happy to play in all positions for Brighton, scored lots of important goals for us. When he moved to Celtic i was delighted for both my teams, delighted for Brighton as they got a badly needed 1.5 million for their new stadium and i was happy as a Celtic fan as we signed a good player who was not money grabbing like big jan and was prepared to get on with it. It's a shame that Strachan didnt give him his chance, Strachan has absolubtly destroyed 2 decent young Scottish players in Virgo and Riordan and wasted a shit load of money for Celtic in signing good players them but deciding to stick with crap like Caldwell, Naylor and Killen. I'd like to advise my fellow Celtic supporters to do their homework on new signings before they comment on them, rather than judging them on one or two meaningless friendlies, there is more to a book than it's cover. Albion for the championship, hoops for the title!!!
