What chances for Kent tomorrow?

Twenty20 Kent
comment on the article

It is going to be a nervous couple of days for Kent fans.

What are Kent's chances of beating Essex in the first semi tomorrow?
Essex are a really strong team in the one day arena and look likely to go into tomorrow's game with a handsome Championship win under their belt too.
Kent on the other hand have not played all week so should be free of an small injuries but some say there is nothing like playing to keep you in the mood to play more, especially if you have been winning too.
It will be a big task for Kent.

Will van Jaarsveld play, considering this format hasn't been to his liking this year? If he doesn't will Matt Walkwer play who had a good final last year? Is Stevens fit? Let's hope so. We need his bowling to take the pace off the ball as well as his ability to let fly with the bat given the chance.

All opinions welcome.

This unblievable for me, I support Middlesex & Newcastle United, and so have never experienced this feeling.

I have only supported the Crusaders for 3 years, but that isn't effecting how I'm feeling tonight. I feel like I've been supporting them for 40 years!!!!!!!!

whoever said domestic cricket is dead - well they certainly been proved wrong.

Hope there are more coverage for domestic cricket rather than the over-paid and over-rated England.

I know Twenty20 has almost nothing to do with Tests, but Owais Shah very often makes important scores, I've always said he should be chosen to play all forms of the games for England.

He makes important knocks in tests, 50 over games and 20 over games. He's in much better form than Collingwood and Vaughan, so give him a chance in test cricket.

I agree, you have to wonder what on earth he has to do to get into the England side. Maybe Vaughan just doesn't like him? IF they are going to pick Colly over him on present form the Peter Moores needs to come out in public and say why.....

Congratulations Middlesex.

It was a wonderful final - the best i have witnessed for some time.

Lots of great performances.

Hope Middlesex trash England sometime in October.

I hope there will be more calls for England vs MCC or the county champions vs England test teams or or FP champions vs England in a one off OD match.

It goes to how under-valued domestic cricket is and the beauty and love of domestic cricket has.

Much better than England.

When Middlesex play England in October - which team will Shah & Strauss be representing? I hope its Middlesex.

Surely ECB wont intervene to prevent Shah/Strauss playing for Middlesex rather than rubbish England.

Once again - from a Yorkie - congrats to Middlesex. Shah innings was superb.
