I have no problem with anyone getting paid well in the IPL - I just think when they use safety as an excuse not to tour a place they just don't want to go to.

And Pietersen IS hypocritical - he was moaning about too much travelling etc, and then when the IPL appears he was moaning about not being allowed to play in it!

After the bombings in India today and within the last week i wonder if Mr Ponting, Mr Symonds and Mr Pietrsen will consider playing there?

Maybe throw a few dollars at them at themthey will forget about the security threat.

Or is it because in Pakistan alcohol, women and bars arent readily available as they are in India and other countries? I dont blame them for not going there as these are essential to any man but what i dont understand is why they cant be honest about it.

Why not just say it that we dont like the country rather than coming up with bull**** stories about security?

Hey moon

You said that all teams go to India in retaliation to my racism comment and not to pakistan because in your opinion there is no racism and India is safe. Hence in your eyes that proved that white teams were not racist.
Well there were 11 BOMB BLASTS YESTERDAY IN INDIA. Are Pieterson and co not going to India to play the IPL NEXT YEAR NOW. After all If Pieterson says Pakistan is not safe and that he doesnt want to go and the ACB, NZC AND CSA say the same then none of their players should play the IPL next year should they. How WILL YOU EXPLAIN THAT TO ME IF THEY DO GO. I do look forward to reading your reply.

Cricket used to be such a good sport, now like most others it has becomes money based.

Nothing against Pakistan, but why have this pointless tournament in an already over crowded calender.

How is it a pointless tounrnament when before twenty twenty erupted it was the second most important tournament after the ICC world cup in the 50 over category.
It is only since the advent of 20/20 that we are talking about an overcrowded calender. WHich has become even more overcrowded after the 20/20 tournaments sprouting up all over the globe. YOu do not see the players complaining over that.
Lastly I am still waiting on comments by those people who were saying that Pakistan is too dangerous. Well india had about 12 bomb blasts 2 days ago. Are Pieterson and co still going to go there or not now

It was a pointless tournement before the 2020 started.

What is the point?

We have a world cup, why have a second "fake world cup" as well?

It serves no purpose other than money.

They should never have introduced it, and certainly need to get rid of it.

I dont think the main issue is Security. I wonder how many western are still in Pak living a normal life?

When Hair accused Pak of ball tempering NO one said ICC decision forfieting the match was WRONG!!! why making so much fuss now.

Its no point us setting at home making assumptions abt the security in Pak which we dont know nothing about while the ICC must have made sure that security measurement are in place before making a final dicision.
