smitto (U10221594) posted Jul 23, 2008 Real shame for Sam the Bulls and England but those who know the game and its injuries will know you can play on a while with some injuries without doing permanent damage, Sam is having his surgery now so he can recover in time to do a full pre-season with the Bulls, if he waited until after the world cup he would be fit halfway through next season, I remember Sonny Bill Williams having a similar dilemma a couple of seasons ago, Sam Will benefit in the long run and come back stronger.
