Sorry for the Calzaghe topic but this one is actually relevant, none of this slap nonsense

Looks like the fight with RJJ has been cancelled due to a hand injury, apparently a November date could be in the pipeline

Fraser, all those mentioned above have held belts in more than 2 divisions, or moved up a weight class years before the end of their career -- DOUBLE FACEPALM!!

But who do you side with Ciaran? I won't be angry if it's LRR?

I wish I could be like you!!

** Yes, even a dreary weary clever Mr. Liver can be invigorated to be more like LRR.

1st step: ditch the onion tonics and suppositories.

2nd step: Work out on heavy bag daily, 15 straight min minimum, 30 preferred and back up with either a 2 mile run or weight lifting.

3rd step: Send 1000 note to London, and he'll give give more clean liver tips to health and happiness including how to make women swoon upon seeing you enter the room.

1st and 2nd steps I'll work on dude, but re: women and money/job, I don't think I need to go down to your level. You can ring me for advice whenever you need it though.... Judging by the fact you mentioned both your own personal life must be severely lacking in those respects and I'd be more than happy to help. I'll do it for free too, don't need to take any of your money, I'd feel too guilty....

“I can think of a good 20 fighters in or around the same weight that would have destroyed him in their prime “

This is not a fantasy league. We could all real off possible fights that would have made great viewing. The opponent is dependent on money and availability. The prospect of a crowd pleasing fight is unfortunately further down the agenda.

JC never fought the supposed greats because of the money. Not because he ducked them.

Oh and for icemaxim, there have been many supposed factual accounts of RJJ's steroid abuse. I did not post any because there is a lots of contradictory information. You can read what you want into my previous post. The point is that Jones tested positive to an illegal substance. His career took a downward spiral after the BALCO scandal. You can draw any conclusion you want from that.

He did not get the nickname Roid Jones for nothing....

haha I've come to a conclusion there are no greats anymore, Pacman went 12 rounds with an old Barrera, Hatton went 12 recently, Pav went 12 with a washed up JT, JT went 12 with Ouma, Floyd went 12 with Baldomir, every great or so-according to this thread has fought guys not in their class and won on points, simple facts are Lacy was odds on and to be fair just about got away with his life, all the haters on here said Joe was ducking Kessler another lamb to the slaughter, all of a sudden JT doesn't want any part of him and neither did BHOP but at least to save face he got in there, and if it was that easy to hold onto a title for that long check how many have done it.
